Lovin' the Big Apple
This was our first time using a CityPASS. We were planning our trip when we saw several activity passes for New York. This was the best option for us since we were only staying for 5 days. When we got to the various attractions, we compared prices. We saved a lot! I've now recommended this pass to friends who plan a trip to the Big Apple. We loved the city pass! It allowed for flexibility in our days as well as allowed us to feel like we got our money's worth, without the pressure of feeling like we needed to stay in each museum or landmark all day. I will definitely continue to use CityPASS for the cities where available.

Good Value
I bought two tickets from CityPASS NYC for my trip to NYC with Mom. This includes Empire State Building and the American Museum of Natural History, with three extra picks from five other options. We picked the Liberty Statue Cruise, top of the rock, and Intrepid. If you plan to maximize the value, you'd better have at least 3-5 full days to have a relaxed time to experience those sights. Does it save you money? Yes and no, it depends on what you want to see in NYC. They do jointly provide discounted Broadway show tickets if you are interested. And I think that's a great deal.

NYC Statue of Liberty
In general the City Pass for NYC would be a good value if I could actually get a Statue of Liberty Ferry reservation. I have not been able to get one in the app. I check every week for my trip time and they’re is never one available. The other options for the trip work fine.

Great Deal, But Can Be a Major Headache
We bought the CityPASS for New York City. Our first day we had reservations for the Top of the Rock. I loaded up the CityPASS App outside the door and our tickets were gone. Thankfully, I had saved the CitYPASS confirmation email which allowed security to scan my family in. Crisis averted. A few days later, we attempted to use our Empire State tickets. We scanned the first two tickets and everything worked fine. When we got to the children’s tickets, they came back as no record found. I had to spend 30 minutes on hold and getting help from customer service. Thankfully, our reservations were within customer service hours or we would have been out of luck.
Overall, the savings was awesome, but the headaches and frustration almost made the savings worthless.

Worthwhile but make sure you plan carefully
I chose CityPASS as I was in NYC for 6 days and this pass allows you to spread out visits over up to 9 days.
Worked generally well. Watch up if you need to make changes to bookings - these can’t be done on same day.
